Start with the workbench
The earlier 32-second film begins with an empty workshop. Fifteen sections of the original ALPHA mark arrive in sequence, with animated hoists carrying each piece into position.
Join the signature
Welding effects trace the joins as the letters take shape. The sequence combines the original logo, AI-created workshop and welder artwork, animated metal sections and composited sparks.
Finish with four lights
The completed identity settles into place before four overhead lights brighten one after another. A final hold gives the audience time to see the original ALPHA signature in full.
Keep the process in view
This article documents the earlier composited film. The original 32-second video remains available below, alongside its separate construction sample. The current 3D identity film, Forged in light, has its own project page and production notes.
Look closer at the construction
A separate 10-second construction study explores seam welding, cooling joints and the final signature. These two earlier sequences are composited animation studies using AI-created artwork.
